Past/Future. The influence of light on changing lifestyles.

XXI AIDI National Congress: 24-25 June 2024, Palazzo dei Congressi, Bologna

The new Internet of Thing (IoT), artificial intelligence and design thinking technologies are radically transforming the approach to the design of both internal and external environments and the urban context is also rapidly evolving towards a digital paradigm. Light, therefore, increasingly fits into a broad and continually evolving context. In this scenario, there is a growing need for companies and professionals to design increasingly effective, flexible, dynamic and high-quality light that can translate not only into greater well-being of the individual, but also of the ecosystem that surrounds him.

The Association’s objective with this Congress is to create and provide authoritative content in line with changes in the social, cultural and technological context, communicating a culture of light that is in step with the times and capable of facing the challenges that these changes increasingly impose on the sector.

In line with the vision that we want to convey, the Congress will have as its object four broad themes with the aim of examining in depth within each of them transversal topics of great interest and relevance, such as innovation, artificial intelligence, visual well-being, etc.

The themes identified are:

  • LIGHT AND NATURE
  • LIGHT AND CULTURAL HERITAGE
  • LIGHT AND CITIES
  • LIGHT AND HEALTH

Luci Ombre will be present on both dates of the Congress, with particular interest in the Future Workshop on Monday.
